a friend of mine has these pills that i looked up and theyre Thorazine. and they have the code for the pill on one side and 50 on the other so im figuring theyre 50mg pills. is there any rec use outta these things? someone told me if u take me youll just sit there and drool on yourself.......sounds fun to me.!!!
and would they come up on a drug test? or interfer with my meth dose? well if theyre even good for anything first..........

I have been on this before during one of my "hospital" visits. It does have a high factor to cause drool and I think is really a bad dose. They give to you to keep you under wraps until the doctor can see you the next day.
You been warned, the buzz sucks.

A good trick if you ever get taken into hospital and they're denying you tranquilizers is to just start screaming "GIVE ME SOME ****ING DRUGS" really loud and call all the other (hopefully elderly - it's a better effect) patients in the room cunts, etc. They have to sedate you !!
Otherwise, you're affecting other patient's quality of care. -Mike

Thorazine is a vile, awful drug for casual R&R use. I took some once for fun, and ended up sleeping for 24 hours. When I woke up, I felt as if my IQ had been halved. It took about a week for me to feel fully functional (well, as functional as I got in college) again. My advice would be to save it until you need to break into a warehouse gaurded by ferocious dobermans, and slip it in their puppy chow. Not a fun drug.

Thorazine?® (chlorpromazine) was the first "major tranquilizer," today called "antipsychotic," introduced onto the market. It was hailed as a revolution in psychiatry that would quickly empty the mental hospitals.
Chlorpromazine works by blocking dopamine receptors, pharmacologically accomplishing the same thing that a surgical lobotomy does. It belongs to a chemical cl*** called phenothiazines, which also includes Stelazine?®, Compazine?®, Trilafon?®, and many other nuthouse staples.
Drugs from other chemical families, like the butyrophenones (e.g., Haldol?® haloperidol) do essentially the same thing.
These drugs are no fun, ever, under any circumstances, and are likely to cause all kinds of unpleasant reactions, ranging from a weird sense of restlessness to unbelievably painful muscle spasms (usually seen with the higher potency drugs).

Hmmm, I dunno. My mom is a mental health nurse, and she's told me that sometimes they do four points with a 'takedown' drug, and sometimes they don't.
From personal experience, when *I've* been thrown in four points, I've gotten a shot (and whooooweee, did it take me down), but my mom and her co-workers are really unsympathetic to drug-seekers, and the impression that I get is that the more you act out to get drugs, the less likely you are to get them, even if they have to take you down. I dunno, though.

In Chicago, if you're a doper, and you get caught by the cops, instead of busting you, they'll sometimes let you off the hook if you let them take you to a state run mental heath center called "Madden" and check youself in. I think you got to stay 72 hours.
This happaned to a freind of mine. He said the attendants adminastered Haldol as a punishment for the residents that 'acted up' or didn;t cooperate ! They were able to do this under the guise of 'diagnosed behavior treatment'. They then might further confine or restrain you while on Haldol.
They adminastered it to him once, when he got pissed off, and he described the drug's affects as one of the worst feelings he ever experienced. He claimed it was a very effective means of keeping order. After one adminastration of Haldol, the mere threath of another definitely got him to cooperate.
His story jives with your post pretty well...
Strat BTW The cops did this to my brother after a coke and boose binge. When I visited him the next day, he said they gave him Librium all day, and a 3 grain Tuinal at night.
They gave him a Tui every night 'till he left, then they gave him a 30 day 25mg x 3/day Librium script with a refill when they let him go. He really liked the Tuinal part. Helped the coke crash.
He didn't mind the script either, though another guy we know got a Valium scrip, but was so ****ed up on everything they gave him, he lost it when he woke up the next day and we were going to crack it.

Absolutely...the guy that got the Haldol unfortunately died two years ago after a lifelong heroin habit since back when we were in high school.
My brother just celebrated 7 years clean. He talked the cops into taking him to Madden twice, a year or two before his final successful rehab. So this happanned around '93 - '94. Both times my brother was coked up for a couple days and trying to drink it off and got stopped for DUI..
The guy with the V's was also DUI and severely alcoholic. He was in Madden maybe a year or two before my brother.
Madden Mental Health Center is located at 1st Avenue and Roosevelt Road, just west of Chicago's city limits, next door to Loyola University Hospital.
If you're busted small time, or simply under the influence badly, you've got a chance by coming clean and just telling the cops you're totally ****ed up and out of control and need help, and can they get you into Madden cuz you got no money and can't stop yourself.? That's if it's a Chicago cop. If it's a suburban cop you're dead meat.
Also, if you stay for at least three weeks, you get a social worker who will help you get temporary disability benafits. These last two years only. These benafits can be used to go into a long term drug rehab program, which is how my brother ultimately got clean.
You pay nothing for your stay in Madden; it's run by the State of Illinois.
If you need to renew your disability benafits, you've got to convince a doc you have a permanet mental disabiltiy, cuz you can't use drug addiction as a reason any more.
I know several people who have gone this route.
