I had a closing to be performed two weeks ago on June 28, 2002 for a condominium. The seller lives out of state, not in the same state as where I live. Here are the facts. 1. Property is being bought for cash. No banks involved. 2. Closing was on June 28, 2002. 3. I had in my possession a bank check for the entire amount due. 4. I also had a CML (certificate of municipal lien) with me. Now for the seller. 5. The seller did not come to the court house. 6. The seller did not have 6D certificate (t ...

I had two manic episodes in my lifetime, separated by about a year. The first was a fun, fast paced rollercoaster ride that left me euphoric for about two weeks. It landed me in a mental hospital for three days and I essentially was unscathed (checkbook intact, no damage to anything, etc). I was given a bottle of zyprexa and lithium, but no diagnosis. I researched the zyprexa (pre FDA approval for bipolar disorder) and saw that it was meant for schizophrenia. I asked my doctor if he thought I wa ...

Continuing study of the Irish chiefs problem via FOI applications has thrown up evidence of a new problem facing the Genealogical Office/Office of the Chief Herald of Ireland. It would appear that about June 2002 the Attorney General's Office returned advice to the Chief Herald to the effect that not only was there no statutory or legal basis for affording courtesy recogntion to chiefs, but that the practice of granting arms was itself unsupported. 'HOW MANY CAN YOU TAKE?' It's late in the afternoon on a rainy day. Preparing for rush hour traffic, the Attack One crew makes an early exit from a hospital continuing-education event to get back in service. As crew members make their way out through the emergency department, they talk to the emergency physician about the potential for an evening rush hour full of motor vehicle accidents. En route back to quarters, they are instead dispatched for a report of a stroke at a community dialysis center. As they arrive at the building, there is an unusual amount of activity with the staff. ...
West Papua: Special Treatment Any discussion of autonomy should clearly spell out the possibility to give Papuans the opportunity to decide if they want to be part of Indonesia or a separate State and there should be an option for a referendum after 15 years, or 20 years. In West Papua, Special Autonomy law never spelled it out clearly on this matter. However, Chauvel points out that an independent West Papuan State would face a series of challenges, not least the thousands of Indonesian migrants who now call West Papua home, some going back generations. Then there would be the ongoing ...

IT Success 1. Choose a IT career that's in demand It is essential to choose a career path in IT which has sufficient demand. There are hundreds of career paths in IT but NOT all offer the same levels of opportunity. IT careers in demand can have lower entry requirements simply because there aren't enough people to fill the vacant roles resulting from skill shortages. These shortages can also fuel higher salaries to entice more people. Technology can change quite rapidly so choosing the wrong database technology for example, could lead to less opportunity ...

10 Steps To IT Success When I first started looking for a career in IT, I was offered a computer support engineer role which paid a lot more than I was on in my non IT job at the time. Consider a career working in J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) whilst this is definitely a career in demand, the TTL is quite high, as not only is a good grasp of Java required, but there may be a requirement for IBM Websphere, Tomcat, Apache and whole host of other technologies. So unless you've worked in this field for a number of years and been able to build up a steady exposure to these technologies, it's going to take an age to learn these technologies from scratch, during which time you could lose out on earning good money.
