Whats with the crazy woman who chucked a complete tantrum over her bags being searched?? her behaviour indicates she is either guilty as sin or needs to be medicated, personally i think it was both. One things for sure, she certainly wasn't doing herself any favours, anyone finds that sorta thing a PITA but if she had of co-operated she woulda been outta there in half the time. Now my question is, what are her legal rights as far as being filmed? Would she have the legal right to tell them to stop filming her or would it be up to the airport because she is on their property? I ask because it almost doesn't make sense that she was that pissed off yet allowed herself to be filmed, its a wonder she never attacked the cameraman.
I also wondered why the airport staff took so long to call the AFP, given her verbal abuse of them i would have not only done that but referred her to have a cavity search with a dried up rubber glove & no lube, i bet that would have soon shut her up!

Clearly a terminal ****wit.
How odd that they didnt find anything, even with an internal body search.
More fool you.
Sure, but she didnt appear to care and preferred to put the boot in.
Yep, and wouldnt have got the internal body search either.
She could have refused to allow that. She appeared to prefer to put the boot in on tape.
Yes.
As far as the cameras are concerned, yes. Thats a separate issue to showing the footage on prime time TV tho.
She appears to be just another terminal ****wit that chooses to make a scene when its suits them to do that.
Plenty of other examples of that happening on that other program, Airport.
She appeared to prefer to have it all on tape.
Presumably because it was being taped and they couldnt find any evidence of any drugs at all.
It aint illegal to say what she said.
Thats illegal, stupid. Only someone as stupid as you would have done that with it being taped.
It didnt actually. And when nothing was found, you can be sure she'd have had your guts for garters legally too.

Are you referring to that Malaysian bitch who came out a few years back. Some sort of trade or tourism minister. The bitch was probably smuggling drugs. They all do. No wonder the beagles were going apeshit over her bags.

There's nothing you can do if a film crew is present and have permission to be on the premises. The risk for the Customs Officers is that if they do something to deliberately enrage the p***enger (as they did to that woman). I bet customs dont let the video out of the secure area until they ve censored it.
She invited them to search the bag, they did, they found nothing, they searched her and found nothing - meanwhile about 50 drug mules all got into the country because the customs officers were overly occupied by the film crew and one woman who was jet lagged and a needed a smoke. But of course the customs officers were doing what they were told to do - I mean its boring TV if someone just comes into the country and behaves politely.

What shits me is the number of wops working for customs who seem to prefer annoying real Australians. On my last return, there were a pair of Indians working one of the customs and immigration booths. Yeah, I know, its the same in the US. Lots of wetbacks etc.
What really annoyed me was some arab prick who har***ed some American girl a few years back for taking a picture of herself as soon as she arrived here. The guy was a prick. It says no photography in the secure area (not sure why. Nothing but shit to see there) but they let these cunts film it anyway.
Now what they really should do is clean the filthy carousels at KSA.
Look at the bottom of the sloping tracks on them. There's all sorts of crap in them. Old luggage tags, etc. Its like they're never cleaned.

With her outrageous attitude to customs staff made me wonder if she carried on that way to the cabin crew on her flight and they gave customs the 'nod' on opening the doors at the terminal to give her the full treatment.
Believe me, THAT has happened...don't mess with the crew if you don't want a little surprise at the end of your journey.

My thoughts exactly, and the Customs people were to obsessed to notice.

While I sort of agree with you, she had been there for 3 hrs when the video section we saw was filmed. It would be good to know what had transpired in those 3 hrs, as I suspect it wouldn't take that long to search her stuff.
And I got the opinion that the body cavity search was just the customs people getting their own back - eg retaliation - but......
And of course remember she was innocent - being kept for 3+ hrs when you haven't done anything wrong is likely to get one wound up David

Somehow, I still doubt very much that it was filmed. Can you somehow prove this? I find it extremely hard to believe that any production company contracted to record such a television show would still be using film. Film is still used for Imax production, and for the silver screen, but never these days for television. I'm suggesting that you read what you thought I posted, and not what I actually posted. Please learn to read posts properly in future. That is all.

Are you sure you want to make that bet? She certainly was being filmed (otherwise how would we have seen it?) David - who watched the show

Do they need her CONSENT before allowing that footage to be shown? I thought that a cavity search would only be used if there was a strong suspicion of drug carrying, not the repeated LACK of evidence.
It was payback, and I pity the poor woman who got to listen to that thing while sticking gloved hands up her various orifices.
Though in hindsight, it's probably better than listening to Jebus..

quietguy quiet...@REMOVE-TO-REPLYconfidential-counselling.com
I can understand how that must seem a difficult task for someone like yourself -
while I am not sure to operate those TV station cameras, when I want to film stuff with my video cam I just turn the camera on, then press the record button Of course the above is redundant if you were just being a silly billy boy and were trying to say 'filming' doesn't apply to video camera recording David
"TG'sFM" suv...@yahoo.fr
That would be 'taping' or 'recording', not 'filming'. Hope that helps.

According to whose definition? If you look up filming in the dictionary, it says "To make a movie of or based on: eg, film a rocket launch; film a scene from a ballet." No mention is made of the medium being used.
Further, the words you suggest aren't appropriate. You will "tape" or "record" a tv show using a vcr, but this is not what we are talking about here where you are filming the original footage. What verb according to you do you use to describe the situation where you use a video camera to film a scene?
