I am just wondering if kids should have "Adult Education" as part of their schooling?
I am talking about how to be and act like an adult and ordinary things like honesty in relationships and dealing with emotions?
What do people think?

Parents are supposed to do that. Besides, it would be a waste of breath. By the time they're old enuff to understand what we're talking about, they think that we don't know anything and are antiquities from another era trying to keep them from having fun or doing what they want. Can't speak for others, but something like this might have helped me avoid spending my teen years in an abusive relationship. I thought it was normal, having had no examples to teach me otherwise.

What do people think?' ME: By 'kids', i ***ume you mean less than 12 year old ? IF so, then, kids need to be kids and have fun in their childhood ; there plenty of time between 15 and 90 years of age for them to continually learn how to act and be like responsible adults. However, heres a few things that will help kids in this area : 1. Dont let them watch tv programs like "Desperate Housewives" where adultery is glamorized . Or that "NYPD Cop show" that pushes the envelope for using filthy language and vile talk. In fact, just sell all your tv's at your next garage sale.
2. Dont let them listen to Heavy Metal music which glorifies violence, anger, using people for sex, and rebellion toward authority and traditional values and morals. In fact, just sell all your tape players, MP3 machines, video games, CD players, etc...at your next garage sale.
3. Dont let them buy Madonna, JayLo, and all the other popular Tramp propoganda which promotes sexual immorality, perversion, and fantasy. In fact, just dont let them go in any stores ; better keep them away from garage sales too.
4. Dont let them.....(oh forget it..its a loosing battle ; just throw em to the dogs and let our culture raise them . Get stocked up on condoms and p*** them out liberally so they can have as much fun as possible , get your girls on the pill at puberty (no..before puberty), get the Old Man an internet subscription to his favorite Porn site, and get yourself see thru blouses so you can parade about in public showing others how culturally hip and sexy you can be at 50 years of age .
Rest ***ured, kids are already getting Adult Education .

Quite a few forward thinking high schools and some middle schools are implementing a 4Rs program, where the forth R stands for relationships. They teach things like anger management, communication, cooperation and tolerance.
I don't think they all get good examples at home so I'm all for it.

But how is that going to help people like dave (aka indecency advocate) who has posted elsewhere that he considers our educational system as a form of "brainwashing" and that only creationist pseudoscience be allowed?
PS Dave when are you going to explain your theory on how the Sun is powered by a NItrogen to Helium fusion process and why the Earth is ONLY 6000 years old?
