I have pondered whether to post this or not, but I need the support and the prayers and even though I have never met any of you, you feel like friends to me. So here goes. On Monday, my husband went into the hospital for inpatient treatment of severe depression. We will find out more today, but chances are that he will be admitted into a program for professionals (he is an attorney) and will be there at a minimum of two more weeks. My father in-law the other week tipped his walker over outside at church and fell and cracked his hip. Being he is 86 doctors view his mortality rate as not being to good now complicated by type 2 diabetes and all that goes with that. Surgeons put 2 pins in his hip. Lucky it wasn't a full break. None the less it's extremely painful for him to try and get up to walk. He won't be allowed home till he's able to be a lot more mobile. I can understand that part. It's sorted now but after sitting and discussing various aspects of the crisis, including how long I'd get for murder <lol>, I said - "Let's go round to Currys to buy a DVD player." Well as you girls know, there's nothing like a bit of retail therapy to take the edge off life's little cares and woes. We went to Currys. Now Currys is a fairly large store, full of all sorts of electrical goods. I shy away from the white goods but I do like the TVs and CD players and mobile phones a ...
