Hello all, When my mom was sick, she was using a combination of western medicine and alternative medicine. My mother saw a doctor who practised chinese medicine. He really hated western medicine(chemo, radiation therapy) he denouced western doctors and talked about how he could cure my mom. He charged insane prices, just to visit him for one session including the medicine we bought from him cost about $300 CDN a visit. We believe they are at it again. This time, their ploy is to issue a "Guidance" that implies these therapies can be "Medicine," which creates the risk that any non-physician who uses them could be held to be practicing medicine without a license. The Island Park bridges along the Queensway belong to the latter category. The concrete deck and steel girder structures weigh about 650 tonnes each. John Ensign, R-Nevada, that would have shifted the bill's $35 billion SCHIP increase, financed through a tobacco tax increase, into treating diseases like cancer and heart disease. It would have left the program, slated to expire on September 30, funded at its current $25 billion level for the next five years.
The bipartisan bill would gradually move adults who don't have children out of SCHIP, giving states the option of covering them through Medicaid. The government also would lower payments for parents' coverage and be barred from issuing new waivers allowing states to cover parents. But states would still have the option of providing coverage to pregnant women through SCHIP.

FDA vs CAM (Urgent Action Required) The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has posted its intention to put out a document on guidance on how they intend to regulate Complementary and Alternative Medicine Products (CAM) under the existing laws on the books. (The Food and Drug Act (Act) and the Public Health Service Act (PHS Act). One could presume that a clarification of this issue might be a good idea, but it appears that this is just another attempt by the forces supporting Big Pharma and allopathic medicine to regulate everyone else by declaring things are not medicine as "Medicine" and thus regulating them.
