The Scientific Evidence For Alternative Treatments For Cancer

(20 Messages)

Is There Scientific Evidence For Alternative Treatments For Cancer? The documented evidence that alternative treatments have put tens of thousands of people into remission (i.e. cured them) cannot be denied. The most viable of this evidence comes from the doctors and others who treated these people. In many cases, such as Kelley, the medical establishment had unrestricted access to their records. If their records had not been in good shape, at the time they were examined, you can rest assured th ...

Resuts of alternative treatment of cancer

(16 Messages)

As this is a "holistic" clinic it is probable that these extremely advanced cancers, especially the breast cancers, got this way through either the reliance upon alternative methods, or being frightened off proper treatment by the scare tactics of alternative medicine. (Don't look if you are squeamish) A while back I suggested that an oncology group somewhere with the aid of local GPs should try to keep tabs on patients who choose to go the purely alternative route, so that a prospecti ...

Cancer - Bone Metastatic - Alternative Treatments

(7 Messages)

I recently wrote a post on Cancer - Bone Metastatic cancer from an unknown source. I have seen and heard about alternative treatments. Most everyone seems to be focusing on "quality of life" and "pain management." But, I have seen some posts (on the internet) about alternative treatments. I'm wondering a few things. First, are there any that would give us a "glimmer of more hope" in situations like this. Second, how does one even go about choosing a possible alterna ...

New to Group duaghter just diagnosed with ADHD

Last week we finally got back the results on the testing for our daughter. They have diagnosed her with ADHD and now we are waiting to see the Psychyrist. We are looking for ways to deal with this without putting her on medication. My husband and I really do not want to medicate her, but we do want our sanity back. She will be starting kindergarten this fall and if I don't do something now I know there will be problems. Mandy

ADHD Alternative TreatmentADHD Alternative Treatment Transform yourself from a frustrated parent to a coaching parent. This means to try to problem solve rather than punish when the child doesn't follow directions. Catch your child doing positive actions and thereby increase those behaviors. You might do better to choose your battles by selecting three rules that if broken will have consequences. All other rules that she doesn't follow you handle by giving more information, problem solving, and recognizing the importance of practice and repetition.

Alternative Treatments for ADHD World of PsychologyAlternative Treatments for ADHD - World of Psychology I think that parents need to pay closer attention to what they are feeding their chldren. A lot of behaviors would go away with proper nutrition and avoidance of certain food groups. With the way our food is today and the SAD diet (standard american diet) of junk, processed food and sugars parents and doctors need to stop looking for the magic pill and start paying attention to what their kids eat. Supplementation is a must, Omega 3’s are necessary, OPC#3, ORAC and B vitamins have worked for many clients who suffer from childhood and adult add/adhd.

Not only do parents need to pay attention to the foods their children eat, they also need to evaulate themselves and their parenting styles. Children learn from a very young age how their parents will respond to different behaviors. Even the slightest response (eg, laughing at or praising inappropriate behaviors because they are perceived as being “cute”in young children) can result in significant behavioral problems as the child develops. Parents don’t cause ADHD, but their behavior may certainly be a significant factor in treating ADHD.

SomaSoma To declare that "everybody is white" or "everybody is black" or "everybody is neither white nor black, but gray," is not a moral judgment, but an escape from the responsibility of moral judgment. (Ayn Rand) It is not justice or equal treatment that you grant to men when you abstain equally from praising men's virtues and from condemning men's vices. When your impartial attitude declares, in effect, that neither the good nor the evil may expect anything from you - whom do you betray and whom do you encourage? (Ayn Rand) Tell me what a man finds sexually attractive ...

I have finally willingly joined the ranks of the soma zombies. I have also found a therapist who, at first meeting, appears to be fairly good. My therapist was able, after a first meeting, to explain back to me in great detail the problems I had explained to him. This sounds fairly simple, but a good 2/3 of the people I've seen have not been able to do this. We've only seen each other once, so I have no idea how treatment will play out. To tell you the truth, I honestly have no idea how therapy is supposed ...
