Just something to "hopefully" get people OFF of Scientology, and onto other debates.
As you said, They aren't making friends there. Their excuse...
They wouldn't be no matter what they say, so may as well slam the psych's.
The truth? Sure they could.....if they would do as their master said and "Get honest and straight".
But even that is too much for them.
They are on a mission....almost a duplicate of the G.O. But they refuse to look at the stats, and compare themselves.

The answers, alas, are just one: The line is whereever the diagnosing psych says it is -- and usually that is anything this side of comatose.

This is a very condemnatory quote on the current outrageous practice of drugging kids on a wholesale basis. Quotes like this of course won't win any friends amongst psych promoters and apologists.

It has been proven over and over again that no objective criteria exist for the diagnosis of ADHD or even that such a 'disorder' even exists. Still, they continue dispensing the drugs. This needs to stop. Now.

Do you guys really only believe the detractors of ADHD? Have you ever bothered to talk to the parents of an ADHD child or adult? My wife is a pre-primary teacher. In a cl*** of twenty two children there is only one on ritalin, and that was after the psychiatrist had first tried referring the child for occupational therapy, physiotherapy and then a homeopathic remedy. the child went from having no friends, an inability to concentrate or sit in a ring and behind in all developmental milestones, to being a well integrated child with the ability to interact and catching up on virtually all milestones within six months. By no means was the child turned into a zombie or drugged into a compliant state, he actually remained one of the most outgoing children in the group.
As for diagnosis in adults I have a friend whi was only diagnosed a few years ago. Since being on ritalin he has been able to complete a post graduate degree he was stalled on, improve his work performance and his wife is much happier with his ability to interact with her and the kids.

Good post, Marc. But the mind dead rondroids don't want to hear this information. The CCHR morons will hunt you down and expose you for the suprressive person that you are.
The Church of Scientology and its front group, the CCHR is working very hard with it subversive activities to malign and discredit the Novartis Co. and its Ritalin and related products. They are having trouble peddling their lies and distortions though as so many people, adults and children, have been dramatically helped.

My wife is Different people react differently to drugs. Also some schools, teachers, parents, etc. are more responsible than others in exploring alternatives. This, however, doesn't excuse those who aren't. Nor does it mean that the drug isn't being seriously misused.
