Negative responses are falsely characterized as "homophobic." If there is any logic to the psycho-socio-engineered term "homophobic," then there is an equal and compelling logic to the term "heterophobic" to describe the radical Gay agenda. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ...

Troubled Teens Resources Do you need an argument to convince yourself and your husband that looking into schools for troubled teens is the right decision for your Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder teen. Military Recruitment Disguised as Educational Reform The pro-No Child Left Behind campaign tends to focus primarily on the accountability the act provides – more to the point, families can seek out schools that are highly performing and avoid failing schools. While this act may serve as a helpful tool for some families, and a way of measuring so-called progress , there are aspects of NCLB that have other implications. A small aspect of the act that has raised much contention is Section 9528 – a section that allows for military recruiting in public schools at the secondary levels. Schools are left in a bind ...
6 Vox Populi: Steven said... As a post-Desert Storm, pre-Iraq veteran (like your co-blogger, Nate), I can attest that the military is not a cure-all for a wayward child or a misdirected life. I can testify that the policy of the DOD is to get as many warm bodies behind M-16's as it possibly can. I had a rough time growing up. I was a poor, white, erratic boy who seemed to be constantly lost in a sea of strangers. I moved constantly. In the third grade I missed 1/3 of the school year because my parent/step-parent were too strung out on coke to realize I needed to go to school. I dealt with psychological trauma that most ...
What is Leadership? Leadership is the skill of mo Time/ Monday, February 19, 2007 What is Leadership? Leadership is the skill of motivating others to want to struggle to achieve shared aspirations. To be an aspiration it needs to be something new, a challenge. So just taking over and running an organization without changing anything is not leadership. When this is done, unfortunately, an opportunity is lost to contribute and grow as a leader and team player. Is there a substantive difference between leadership and teamwork? Are the skills necessary to be a good leader different from the skills to be a good team player? The view here is that the skills ...
