I have just taken delivery of a book called the CIA Boot Camp and it looks interesting.  Written by a well-known cookery journalist, it goes through the five days spend by amateur cooks at the CIA place upstate in New York.  I shall give it a go.

A recently retired White House chef tells all.  Like it was fun to cook for Bill and Hill, but crap to cook for this one.  How'd you ever decide he was even partially baked?

I believe the food CIA predates the spy one - the spy one started out as the OSS, by whom Julia Child, one of the US's best-known chefs, was employed during WWII.

And I thought the right to bear arms and put marshmallows in savoury dishes was written into the US constitootion.

You are right, Sheila, the book is written by Julia Child Award winner, Martha Rose Shulman., who has done two boot camps there.

Good point. Their main HQ is in Langley, but they could have their cooking school elsewhere.
