This is fun; I'm working on a filler piece this evening that recounts the history of the local Bayliner dealer. (The firm just celebrated its 50th anniversary, although it did not sell Bayliner for some years after it was founded). I've got three brochure photos for some really old Bayliner models. North at NA On game day (Sept. 8), Flannigan is coordinating the Desert Edge Mentoring Services golf tournament. J.J. (’89) is the co-director of the organization, a Phoenix-area non-profit which mentors and prepares youth in such areas as daily living skills, leadership skills, pre-vocational rehabilitation, etc., offering each individual a personalized mentoring environment designed for success. CU GRADE POINTS ON THE RISE... The numbers are now in from the spring semester, and CU’s all-sports grade point average is a healthy 2.830, with the spring GPA of 2.829 the highest attained since a 2.840 in Spring 2002. The semester norm was also over 16 points higher than the fall average of 2.663, the largest increase between academic year semesters eclipsing the old high of 14.4 in the 1999-2000 year. Deaths & Funerals McDONALD, Dr. H.W. William Hector McDonald passed away on July 30, 2007. Hector was born December 29, 1920, in Prince Rupert, the second son of Mary and Andrew MacDonald. Overcoming an early setback when his grade two teacher started calling him by his middle name and it stuck, Hector graduated from Prince Rupert High School.
