While I don't agree with the "painful" aspects of the ultra hard training and I reserve my happiness of weight lost by the contestants with wondering if they follow up people from the show to see if they maintain, I am hopelessly addicted to this show.
We only had our first biggest loser show last year in Australia, and as far as I can tell, the jury is out on who is maintaining well for the Aussie contestants.
Do you guys watch it? If so what do you think?
Please no spoilers about this years show if you can help it!!

never have seen an episode, but from what others tell me for a reality show this one is good, Lee, who has too much reality in her own life...

Well so much for my attempt to generate conversation about something LOL Thanks for replying Lee :) For a reality show I reckon its good.
I don't watch Survivor, Amazing Race etc, just Big Brother Australia when its on.

what would be fascinating to me, is if someone like you who does watch these show could have the opportunity to compare say canadian/Australia/us I would be interested if the rules are different and if the same types of people are on the different shows, and it is a good topic as if one did watch the biggest loser, there are lots of points to discuss about how the show treats the contestants and how they treat themselves and each other, some at my regular WW meeting discuss this every week, Lee ...

Well we get the US version and as I said we started our own version last year/early this year. They are quite similar, but I found the contestants on the Australian one were honest about water loading and other tactics where as the Yanks go "I don't know how I put on 4 pounds officer" :) ...
