Just thought I would drop a note and say that both of our girls are home and doing well. Both of them are on Prilosec (sp?) for reflux.
It was a long seven weeks in the NICU, but that's behind us now.
Thanks again to everyone who visited my website and p***ed along the nice complements here.

Congratulations on having the girls home.  Our ID boys (My daughter's twins) had reflux and we thought the spitting up would NEVER stop -- doc said by one year, and she was right!  Of course, I made enough 'burpy cloths' to last through the year...thank goodness!  Finally got my serger to earn its keep.

Yay!!  I'm so glad to hear they're doing well!  Make sure and check in from time to time and let us know how they're doing.

That is so great to hear, Ben!!  I hope they continue to thrive and that the reflux is under control.
Best wishes, Ellen

Congrats! My daughter is on Zantac for the Reflux and my son is on Caffeine for Apnea. Did the girls come home on the Apnea monitors? Pains in the butt, but this way I don't stare at them 24 hrs. a day to see if they are breathing!

Megan, Megan is on a monitor.  (A pain in the butt indeed.) Melissa did her seven day bradycardia countdown, so she didn't need one.  I think their pediatrician will be taking Megan off of hers soon.  We hope so anyway.  It does provide peace of mind, but we are always getting alarms for loose leads.

Exactly!  I was so nervous the first week they were off of their monitors.
I actually woke up to check on them a few times that first night.  I have never heard of caffeine for Apnea.  How does that work?
