Does any one know why the decision was made to go from Justice League International to the Justice League of America again? The title JLA seems a bit anacronistic given the League routinely faces threats to the safety of the whole world. Does the title JLA imply the League would put the interests of America over other countries? I would be curious to see if the League would have supported American policy in something controversial such as the Vietnam conflict...if the JLA saw American soldiers t ...

The district court refused to enjoin defendant's broadcast. On appeal, the court held that ...
Plaintiffs, a group of British writers and performers known as "Monty Python," n1 appeal from a denial by Judge Lasker in the Southern District of a preliminary injunction to restrain the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) from broadcasting edited versions of three separate programs originally written and performed by Monty Python for broadcast by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). Tech Chronicles Class-action lawsuits allow groups of individuals with a similar grievance to band together and hire one attorney to sue on their behalf. Consumer advocates consider class actions a power-to-the-people tool for those who could not otherwise afford their day in court, while corporations have long maintained that current rules are so loose that they are abused by attorneys whose only interest is picking their deep pockets.
Mulloy also confirmed that Intel belongs to the Civil Justice Association of California, a corporate group that recently started a campaign to gather signatures for a ballot initiative. If enough signatures are gathered, the measure would appear on the ballot in June. Mulloy said the intent is to make California's class-action laws more like the federal Class Action Fairness Act, which became law in 2005.

The History of the BCS Controversy I whole-heartedly respect his courage in speaking up and defending his institution. If we had more people with his heart and courage today, I don’t think we would be in our current BCS predicament. On the surface, much like an iceberg, the issues are obvious and plain to see. But if you dive deep beneath the surface, you begin to understand just how complex the issues and dangers can be in recommending an NFL style playoff for college football. This article will expose and attack the issues that have affected college football over a fifty year period, because it goes beyond ...
Super Friends The DVD format has given all of us Generation X types the chance to relive all of our favorite Saturday Morning TV favorites like the Super Friends. I can still remember being six years old with my bowl of Captain Crunch in hand watching as the greatest heros DC Comics ever created battled their way through mutant monsters, aliens and a plethora of creative baddies. As a young comic book fan I delighted in seeing my favorites like Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman on my TV screen every week. Now as a father myself I have the chance to expose my son to a show that brought me so many ...
The second season of Super Friends would be a different breed of cat from the first. Gone would be the teen sidekicks Wendy and Marvin replaced by the alien Wonder Twins, Zan and Jayna. Okay you can say it now "Wonder Twin Powers Activate." A catch phrase that has managed to remain strong for twenty plus years. As most of you know Zan and Jayna could change form by placing their rings together. Jayna had the cool power to be able to change into any living creature while Zan got stuck with the lame ability to be only able to change ...
