I don't know, but I noticed that Brandon Mayfield enlisted in the Army after high school and served for a year in an intelligence unit (se link below). The fact that he allegedly "converted" to Islam 16 years ago would be a perfect cover for a secret agent involved in "dirty tricks".

Maybe I'm not asking a dumb question and you just don't understand it.
That should be the first thing you think when you come to that conclusion after reading a question of mine.
Of course the question wasn't asking whether or not it was interesting, but rather what the person being asked found interesting about the situation. You'll notice that the person seemed focused on this bit: "A former army officer?" You'll never guess what I think he's suggesting so I'll tell you: He thinks that the US government, probably the CIA and Jews, are somehow responsible.
