SOUNDING OFF A lot of students aren't ready for or cannot afford college, and they aren't skilled enough to find good employment. The opportunities for training, education, and forming lifelong friendships and bonds, as well as the discipline learned as they advance toward maturity, are priceless. I think the ROTC is the best route for those students desiring to go into the military, as that presents an opportunity to become an officer sooner.
