Haile Selassie I Harar Military Academy Harar Military Academy Alumni Association (HMAHAA) held its bi-monthly meeting on April 22, 2007. It was hosted by GC Stifanos Asheber and sister Hirut Belachew with their children Kidist, Lily and Yoseph at their residence. Major Hailemariam Abai, the chairman of the Alumni, thanked the family for being such a delightful host, and as usual declared this event to be one of the best so far. The agenda for the day was reviewing the bylaws of the association. Amendments were made that will be posted soon on the bylaws section of this website.
Maj. Berhanu W/Tensae (acting chairman), thanked Col. Lemma Beyene and his family for hosting the meeting. He also informed the alumni members about the completion of the long awaited "history book" of the Haile Selassie I Harar Military Academy, published by the alumni members founded in Ethiopia. The shipment date, price and method of distribution shall be posted as soon as the information is available.
