My twin girls recently switched from a DoD school to a college-prep type school here in Puerto Rico. It is my opinion that the most neglected part of education today is Voc Ed because every high school in the country is trying to be college prep. The above is an article about local programs, but it is the same nationwide. Most students do not go to college, nor should they. But, they need an education that is relevent to their future careers. It has been figured that my 3 year old has an IQ of around 159 to 164. Her pediatrician was intrigued by what she could do and what she knew last august, so he reccomended her to be "tested." It wasn't a standard IQ test as you all can imagine but they did say she has the intelligence of a 6 year old. Unfortunately she is only 3 and acts 3 and is DRIVING ME NUTS! (Sorry, had to vent.)
