My nine year old nephew lives with my wife and I. About a year ago he developed tics. We took him to a pediatric neurologist who thought that it might be Tourettes. He prescribed 10 mg of Paxil, which was later upped to 20 mg once a day. The tics virtually went away within six weeks. It looked like success to us. Delurking to see if anybody has any ideas because I'm at my wits end. A little background, my daughter is 3 almost 4. She's been going to the same home daycare since she was 3 months old. It's a wonderful, stimulating environment and her caregiver treats her wonderfully. No problem in that regard. So stop feeling guilty mom and dad.
