He screwed up so bad after SARS international press briefing that PAPy org in their usual way "re***igned" him to another less visible portfolio.
Imagine a mini-ster countering what WHO said when SARS was supposed to be under control. Our "beloved" mini-ster Lim said he wasn't sure - and sure enuf, he was widely quoted in international media globally.
If our mini-sters cannot handle press briefing at an international level, perhaps they should all go for some dog training. I am sure that with their million-dollar salaries, they can pay for it themselves easily and not make a fool of SINapore at international level.

He is presently doing a study as to how to increase Singapore's birth rate.
All the measures they have implemented so far have failed miserably. This is not suprising because they only reward those who are rich to give birth.
Let's hope that Mr. Lim comes out with something 100 times better than what they had so far.
1. I hope the government give an outright grant S$10,000 to any Singaporean baby born and S$25,000 to the Singaporean parent with a net wealth of less than S$2 mio.
2. I hope they finance the setting up and running of Child and Baby care centre. Rates should be subsidised.
3. I hope they provide free maternity and child medical care.
4. I hope they provide paternity leave.
