I don't know about anybody else, but when choosing an effective treatment facility....I go with whoever has the best celebrity endorsements....even if it's a has been, no talent, washed up TV actress....If it's good enough fo Kirstie, by God, then it's good enough fo me...

Yep this is a Scientology front, though via a complex web of financhial intrigue they can deny their connection to that cult. Anyone even remotely considering going anywhere near a narconon set up, [and they are over here in the UK too] should take a look here first.

A few years back the evil ****s were getting a huge slice of government drug prevention money under the guise of "Odessy House" in Australia. I dont know if it's still going on but they had royal patrons, "eminent" politiciansand minor celebs delivering the party line, the whole ****ing bit!.As I say I dont know if it is still the same situation in Melbourne but it's about time that junkies realised that scientologists are our enemies in more ways than one.They dont give a **** about helping junkies!, all they are interested in are conversions and the possible profits attached. I have known people's parents paying these mongrels huge amounts of money under the impression that their child was receiving "proper" rehab treatment, and scientology's claims for cures are as fraudulent as the rest of their bogus claims (anyone seen an "Operating Thetan" lately?). A shonky science fiction idea that became a church (for the tax breaks) because it was derided as a science (rightly so). Any junkie looking for help and seeing "rehabilitation" and "scientology" mentioned in the same sentence should run a mile!. Anyone considering rehab in general should make damn sure these parasites are not behind it somewhere, it's not always obvious as they have numerous fronts but only one goal. The only psychic weight scientology will lift is the psychic burden of your wallet and the only "engrams" they will remove is your free will. We really need some sort of list of scientology fronts in the drug addiction treatment area, but they are devious ****s and it would take a fair bit of work to name them all.
Just a suggestion, we start a blank thread and everyone adds any so called drug rehabs sponsored by scientology and we add it to the FAQ, these people are there purely to exploit us.It's time we fought back as serious money that could go to proper rehabs is just draining into their pockets. Bupe and methadone have done far more for addicts than any scientology forum and there needs to be wider access to both but a lot of the money is being skimmed by these manipulative scum.If you come from a rich family they are interested in your money, if not... well they are always in need of more drones.
AG If you ever get into a conversation with them, ask them about the "Sea Orgs" and "non persons" you can throw in "Clears" and "Operating Thetans" too if you like, it seems to agitate them for some reason <g>.

Tell them you are not interetsted because you are a "supressive personality", they really hate that one, it was the fat jerk Hubbard's personal description for those upon whom the e-meter doesn't work, usually those who are wise to the scam in advance, [who they label as "enemies of scientolgy"]. They have a secret protocol allowing outright war against SP's as they call them, [the document came to public light during a trial], and have caused more than one person's death.
Keep away, they are a dangerous cult of the very worst kind. Recent court decisions in Germany have seen them stripped of their cosy religious/tax exempt status, so lets hope they are at last in permanent decline............

Having had to compile a few questionnaires in my time it's pretty easy to see that its impossible to score well on their "personality tests". I was bored one day and decided to fill one in with all the answers balanced in my favor. I still didn't score 100% because it is impossible with the questions bias but I lied through my teeth and hit a score so good that I was in the top 1% and they could only conclude that I was "bored" or "contented" and naturally I wasn't going to admit to "bored" lol. They then brought in an elite squad of 3 "Clears" who attempted to convince me that something *must* be wrong with me, or I *must* want something!, after about 3 hours of h***ling me these self proclaimed super intelligent beings tried to trap me into admitting that I would like to be more intelligent (you could see their piggy little eyes light up at the thought) but I simply told them I was a Taoist and didn't give a ****. In the end they gave up gave me a freebie copy of "Dianetics the science of Mind" and told me to go home and read it (shame I'd already read it). I didnt know it was possible to flunk personality tests <g>.
