Lee Sheriff's Office helps keep roads safe Lee County School District superintendent James Browder visited Patriot Elementary today as a part of a six-school countywide visit. Schools serve new health policy The policy is based on Colorado's "Local School Wellness Policy." The policy talks about healthy ideas for Colorado and gives suggestions to create a policy for the local area on what they can do to make the area more health aware. All foods, according to the policy, are required to contain no more than 35 percent of total calories from fat - excluding nuts and nut butters - and no more than 10 percent of calories from saturated fat. In addition, foods can contain no more than 35 percent sugar unless it is fruit.
