Why do parenting groups attract so many lunatics?

I came here and on alt.parents-teens originally because I had questions about parenting, more specifically sexual education. Yes, I can see all of you laughing: what a fool I was!
On those groups the vast majority of the posts are from:
-John Wolf, a diaper fetish with multiple identities
-vwfemale, LadySharon and other spanking fetish or weird Bible fundamentalists
-and of course Richard Steven Walz, and old hippie who at least has amusing theories on life, but will only read the last 3 lines of each of your paragraphs, without context, and spit back at your face if they do not agree by the comma with what he calls his "truth".
Why is that so? Are those posters representative of the US society as a whole? Or why is it that the only groups dealing with teenagers (misc.kids.* deals with younger children, apparently) are a usenet wasteland?
I'd like to share experiences in parenting teens. I am more inclined to a somewhat "modern" education (i.e. I do not look for a group believing all answers to that question are to be found in the Bible).
Where do I go?
Or should we start a new parenting group? A yahoo group would be easy to set up.

dragonlady meho...@REMOVEpacbell.net

I am a parent of teens (well, two teens and one 21 yo) and I DO hang out on misc.kids and misc.kids.moderated.  There are a number of regulars there who have older kids, and a few whose kids are all grown up.
While MOST of the discussions are about little ones, there are discussions about older kids on occ***ion -- especially if someone starts one.
As you've noticed, on this group threads tend to get hijacked.

If I were you I'd research your facts before you judge.   I have in no way a diaper fetish.  It is true I've had some medical issues needing some form of "expressive therapy".  This is the truth.
But I doubt you will listen to it, you like so many other clueless idiots do nothing but judge without doing much research into such issues.
So many people have issues, and as one going into ministry I have learned not to judge, but to pace with people.  Initially I may misunderstand someone, but I wont let any "Attribution errors" get in the way of detailed research, one on one time, which ultimately will help explain misunderstandings I may have conjured.
Like I said I doubt you will listen.  But its okay its not like I need your input.
John

One thing I forgot to add.  You do not know all these so called identies are me.  I have been spoofed many times by mentally insane people on some of the computer groups, and perhaps here.  One thing I will admit (jwolf6589, and biblemanjohn are the same person).
For aol addresses there is no way to proove someone is me.  For NNTP and ip addresses those who claim those who post from the same NNTP server, client and ip address from me, forgot to take in consideration others from the ip address.  Anyone who posts from this educational place will have the same posting ip address. My machine ip address is blocked. Also they forget to add that more than one person uses my computer.  I know since its my computer, whatever my roomates do will be blamed on me.
I am doing some research and finding ip addresses for some of the following names(http://macconsult.com/diaperboy/) that have been ***ociated with me: jwolf6589-66.244.4.174, 66.244.32.254, 66.244.4.174 bible...@lycos.com-66.244.4.174 someoneto...@microsoft.com-acc17c93.ipt.aol.com,news.f.de.plusline.net 1083033787 36256 172.193.124.147, jo...@southcoast.net-206.245.213.111 jo...@sdf.lonestar.org-chessie.cirr.com 1083186359 10091 192.94.73.2, charliethetige...@yahoo.com-63.200.176.26,63.200.176.26

You're depiction is at least amusing.
These two sides are really the opposite sides of the arguments abroad in western human culture about the supposed "raising" of children, as if anyone actually "raises" anyone else.
The issues really are all VERY deeply sexual and philosophical, and yes, anyone who comes here looking merely for some pithy "child raising advice" is going to suddenly realize that they have stepped in right into the muck and mire of their most deep-seated and most embarr***ing inner secret arguments with themselves, and they won't like it at all!
And THAT is PRECISELY because such people as believe they need such advice, and believe they can just ask strangers for it to "get them past some problems for now" ARE people who HAVE AVOIDED dealing with these VERY sorts of questions ALL THEIR LIVES so far!!
They need rousing from their long stupid sleep.

Hahahahah! A ****ing sicko diaper fetishist going into the ministry!!!
Now why is that so ****ing FITTING!!??? Because Xtianity is EXACTLY at its core that same kind of sick distortion of real sexuality that plagues the Xtian western world and will finally cause the steaming turd of Xtianity to take its last dive down the toilet bowl!! Take the moat out of your own ***hole before EVER EVEN IMAGINING that you have ANYTHING of worth to say about others and real sexuality!!!!!!

That, Mr. Wolf constitutes a fetish.
Odd that you should want to go into ministry.  Your own ministers have thought that you had "mental issues", needed "constant monitoring", and were "not useful for anything more than cleaning people's shoes for more than two years".
BTW, all this crap about "I have learned not to judge".  Is that why you keep calling what you think is my place of employment asking them to fire me because I post links to your stupidity on Usenet.

John, I am not judging you, at least not in the normal sense. I have Asperger syndrome and that prevents me from judging other people. I just don't relate to social interactions normally, for me groups of people are impossible to understand. All I can do is to note which behaviours of mine upsets people and avoid that.
I wrote that you have a diaper fetish, because you post about diapers and because this is how other people describe you (so it was a way to refer to you and have other people understand who I meant). I am happy to rephrase that as "post about diapers" if you wish. In truth, I do not KNOW what fetishes you may have.
Now, if you want help on the Usenet, just post in the newsgroups relating to your problems and use a consistent identity. Else people will be upset and you won't get help. It's that simple.
And if you have a problem with others spoofing your identity, don't save your p***word in the computer. And maybe get other friends.

You've also admitted to crucifyself03 and several others, and you made a test posted tying Leo Davidson to John W (jo...@SDF.LONESTAR.ORG): http://tinyurl.com/2es63 Your point?
You just admitted to being Bible Man John and that's always been using from the above address.

Dont come here for advice.   I should check out that group.   This is what some have already done.  It maybe time to do the same here.  On AOL there is a parenting board where actual parenting is discussed.  Where people like Steve Watz, John Wolf, wvfemale, Lady Sharon, and others are filtered out.  For this I reccommend that those wanting to discuss parenting, join AOL.   Leah

BTW, "Leah" is the first time (I think) you've impersonated a female -
although you've done insects before (Spider Eyes).  Maybe if you figured out your gender identity, all your other problems would disappear.

Lady I do not know who you are, but based on the way you post you sound like a very sick bitch!  For your information I am not this John Wolf you are madly in love with, nor do I share your diaper fetish!  For your information I am from New Haven CT, am a mother of two and 56 years old, and I work at a printing Press.
Does this satisfy you?  If not you need some mental help.  Please seek it before you blow up again.
