Did it work?

Shorty notrealsho...@hotmail.com

No.  Write a couple of paragraphs on why Willow was bisexual and you can bump this sucker into the thousands.

Anything with the word "rape" in it, and then there's the "did he-didn't he" argument about Spike's soul, those always get lots of people jumping.

Merciful Zeus.  I've been waiting for this thread to come back to life.  I thought it had p***ed on to a better place permenantly.  I mean, no one comes back from paradise.  Well a slayer once, but...
Kudos, Chris.  (and hi, Peachy...)

Nah, that one is too specific.  Not to mention I don't think anyone would argue about it.

Actually he didn't. This is just a fake Lance Armstrong thread, not a reply to original ;-)

Aw, I'm feeling the love, Peach, I'm feeling the love...
I've been good.  I've sort of taken a break from usenet and spend most of my time in the blogosphere now.  The presidential race is heating up and politics is taking up all of my existence.  Not like I can vote yet or anything, but it's still fascinating me.  A bit more than AtS.
*But*, now that Lance's thread is back, I might be back here more permenantly.
What've you been up to?  Causing any more heated, off-topic discussions?

Peachy Ashie Passion res1n...@invalid.net

Nah.. no heatedness for me.  Not here at least.
I'm sorta absent a bit myself, I need to go back to school and finish my bachelors, so I am.
I'm taking online cl***es which is totally awesome, I can sit on my butt in front of my computer, and cl*** takes place via message boards.  My geekness is loving it!
   um.. can't vote yet?

Darn.  I love a good fight...
That's always good.  I got me one of those a few years back.  What are you getting it in?  Buffy?
Oh, but you don't get the joy of dorms, keggers and drunken co-eds!
Them's the best parts.
Nah, I wish I were that young.  I'm not a registered Democrat so I have to wait until the actual election.  But it's still fun to watch....

Peachy Ashie Passion res1n...@invalid.net

hmm.  we could try to stir up a fight, I suppose.
how about, can you think of a single good reason that polygamy/bigamy should be illegal?
social psychology for my bachelors, then I'm looking at a masters in social work.
Well, this is true.  But I had rather an excess of those my first go round in college, which is why I didn't graduate yet.
I've now realized I took adolescent psychology twice, and must take it yet again, because both times i took it before I withdrew from school the day before finals because I was flunking all the other cl***es I had that term.
But I was getting an A in adolescent psychology, damn it.
I'm glad you clarified that.  I knew you were of age, so I was very confused.

bobbytues ...@hotmail.com (Bobby Tuesday)

well, I just noticed there's an "is God real" discussion going on, but I haven't jumped in.  Could be controversial enough for me.
As for the polygamy, is it controversial enough to say I favor polygamy but not polyandry?  Or is that just misogynistic?
I have a friend who's getting her Ph.D. in child psychology.  Very cool stuff.  The brain hurts my brain, so to speak.  It's so complex.
All those neurons and stuff.  And sea slugs can learn without forming any new neural connections, what's up with that!
And social work.  Whoo.  That's a bit *too* helpful for me.  I'm guessing you have to work with people for that job.  I don't do well with people.  Unless they're giving me their undivided attention and not asking too many questions.
Oooh, bad girl.  Me too, though.  I had to come out of a three week bender of drugs and booze in order to p*** my last cl*** which I had more or less forgotten I was taken (I'd already had my thesis approved).  But hey, no one ever said college was for higher learning...
I would make a comment about why _adolescent_ psych was the only one you were p***ing, but I'll let the situation speak for itself...
Sorry to confuse you.  I did take the presidential match test (www.presidentmatch.com) and came up with Leiberman.  So I've been a Leibermaniac filled with much Joe-mentum, lately.  At least when I get off the couch to find the cigarettes and stop to think about it...

Peachy Ashie Passion res1n...@invalid.net

it's not nearly controversial enough.  I'm debating the wrong side just to try to move it along, but apathy rules.
well.. you can favour whatever you like, really.
I just firmly feel that the government ought not be in the business of telling people who they can marry.  Set a rule, nobody under 18 gets married and be done with it.
it IS very cool stuff.  I love how the brain works.  I love child development with a total p***ion.  It's amazing.. and with kids it's so damn clear.  You can really see the growth happening.
My kidlet hit a new stage last week, and the change was so sudden it was like a little light switch in his brain got flipped to "on".  I'm just in awe.
It does seem to be a people kind of a job, doesn't it?
My ulterior motive is to become a counselor and teach everyone to think right, because I'm entirely too frustrated with all the idiots in the world.  Do you think that will work?
oh, I bet someone did.  The world is full of idiots, after all.
*sigh*   yes well.  I'm afraid the real answers are more along the lines of the other cl***es containing mathiness.  Plus I have to take them over again too!
  Life just really gets ya.
But the drunken sorority girl days were fun, so no worries.
   hmm.
I think he'd already pulled out of the race when you typed this, so your Leibermaniac status is in doubt.

bobbytues ...@hotmail.com (Bobby Tuesday)

Yeah.  I couldn't get inspired to even read it.  I've found other places to debate my controversial topics....
Problem with marriage is that as long as the government is sanctioning it, anyone denied is going to cry unfairness, as they rightfully should.  The government shouldn't give marriage licenses at all.
Everyone is all up in arms about a tiny little word.  Poo on them.
I think I missed some of those moments with my sisters. They're 7 and 8 years younger than me so I left the house for college when they were still very young.  I come home now and it's like, aw, they all growed up; when did that happen?
Yeah.  People suck.
No.  What did Einstein say?  Something like, there are only two infinite things, the universe and stupidity, and I'm not certain about the former.  Or something like that....  Anywho, it's worth a shot.
At least you probably won't make them stupider.
I think Barney said it once, right here on this very board.  But then I always thought he was a tad naive...  ;) oooh mathiness.  I love da math.  Except differential equations.  They used to get to me.
Ah, you were a sorority chick.  Tri-Delt?  Kappa?  I was in a non-greek co-ed.  We were kinda like a frat only we had women and more orgies.  Although I *almost* joined a frat.  There was something scary about the repressed homosexuality, though...
Well shit on a shingle.  I guess I've got to vote for Bush then.

Peachy Ashie Passion res1n...@invalid.net

well SHARE it, darn it all!
Okay, I can get behind that one too.
Works for me.
Most of the really cool ones stop by about 4.  You were likely there and just too busy being a kid you didn't notice.  That's okay, it's what you were supposed to do.
And sometimes they do it well?
Oh, wrong thread.  Pervert thread was around the corner to the left.
I can't possibly make them stupider.
if I can pound some semblance of the concept of responsibility into just one person, my life will have been worth it.
Okay, maybe two people.  Besides my kids.
I do not love the math.   The math basically bites.  I have no interest in learning the math.  And still, I'm forced.
One has hope that by the time I get to statistics they'll have figured out a way to show me a reason I need it.  Aside from to graduate, I mean.
Now I feel cheated.  We never had a single orgy.  I joined Phi Mu, and I did have a good time.  I just sorta didn't do the study gig like I needed to.
Repressed homosexuality is scary?  I don't think I knew that.
   um.  Oh darn?

Nope.  I have to have something for myself.  Let's just say, it's a battle over gay marriage with uber-Catholics...
That reminds me of a joke about being "behind the women's movement." Forgive me while I dig my mind out of the gutter...
Yeah, probably.  Damn, I wish I were a kid again.....
Any thread with me is a perver thread....  Mean people suck.  Nice people swallow.
Oh, responsibility.  That's a four letter word in modern America.  I thought you knew that.  Good luck with that; you're gonna need it.
Logical reasoning.  Grouping.  Trend-finding.  Statistical significance.  I don't think people understand math.  Math is not the enemy.  Math is the universal language.  No matter where you go in the world, 2+2 is always 4.  Well, sometimes it's 11, but we don't really need to get into that...
Orgies aren't terribly interesting.  Too many body parts and everyone's worried about spreading the love around that no one really ever gets enough.
I didn't need to be stripped naked and sprayed down with a hose because some ***hole has penis-envy.  And if I wanted to be spanked, I'd go to a club.
No, I was probably going to vote for him anyway.  I just don't like Kerry....
