Apparently under the new Domestic Violence, Crime and Victims Bill a register will be established for domestic violence offenders with a requirement for the police to be informed upon such an offender changing his address. I totally fail to see the point of establishing such a register singling out domestic violence rather than any other form of violence. It seems to only be for reasons of political correctness. Otherwise why not establish a register for convicted muggers and drug dealers? Or pe ...
