Hi, Ive just begun to handload my ammo and have a question or two. What are the signs on a case that the load is to hot? What happens with the pressure if I deviate from the suggested Min Case Overall Length? (Is there a constant that follows, that the pressure will rise let say 30bar/0,1mm that I shorten the MCOL???) Any help is welcome. -Tino ----------------------------------------------------------- Learn about rec.guns at -----------------------------------------------------------

Wilderness Therapy: The Use of Force and Restraint In A Wilderness The use of force and restraint is a legitimate tool in health care and public service roles that are responsible to maintain order, protect lives and insure public safety. Organizations that perform these functions in society are highly regulated and staffed by licensed or certified professionals such as police officers or doctors. Wilderness programs are not fully regulated and many are not licensed. The role of licensed professionals within wilderness programs vary greatly. Ethical and professional standards of practice, including responsibility and liability for students' well-being, are higher for professionals than ...
Program policy and procedures are essential in society to hold organizations and programs accountable. Professionals and program managers have a civil, contractual, ethical and moral responsibility to protect the lives and rights of their students. There must be clear lines of authority and responsibility for the use of restraint or force in any program where employees presume to have the authority and responsibility of parents or legal guardians. Non-professional wilderness therapy staff have less authority to use force and restraint than parents, physicians and law enforcement. Wilderness therapy programs do not have the same disciplinary ...
Borderline Personality Traits In A Wilderness Therapy Program: A The Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is one of the most severe and challenging problems to treat in mental health. BPD is a complicated problem that is found almost exclusively in females and can be detected as early as middle to late adolescence. This has lead many researchers and clinicians to research and hypothesize that the disorder has a genetic and endocrine related cause mechanism that is subtle and difficult, if not impossible, to understand. A great deal of research has found that mothers with BPD have a higher incidence of children who exhibit such behavior. Whether this is genetic or transmitted ...
According to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder, BPD should not be diagnosed until a teenager has reached 18 years of age. This convention was established by the American Psychiatric Association, but is by no means a widely accepted rule in the world or among psychotherapists in the United States. While a student may demonstrate all of the symptoms associated with BPD, the acceptable Diagnosis in the U.S. is to refer to adolescents as having Borderline Personality Traits (BPT). Whether you refer to a child as having BPD or BPT, the issues that must be addressed are essentially the same. The issue of diagnosis not a matter of science, ...
Wilderness Watch - Policy Introduction - A sense of purpose and foundation Since its founding in 1989, Wilderness Watch has pursued its mission as the citizen voice for Wilderness stewardship, giving a voice to the wilderness and wild rivers of our national preservation systems. We seek to preserve our unique natural heritage the public will articulated by the Wilderness Act and Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. We wrote this guide to help you respond to wilderness and wild river management issues and to provide a basis for consistent management. It will not provide all the answers, but it will provide you with a foundation on which to base positions ...
Management Methods Wilderness Watch strongly favors management methods which provide the visitor with an opportunity for spontaneity and discovery. Education must constitute a major element of a comprehensive visitor management program and should be directed at the general public, specific wilderness visitor groups, and agency personnel. Education programs should explore wilderness concepts and promote the "leave no trace" concept. Education alone will not protect wilderness. It must be supported by regulations and a vigorous enforcement effort. Wilderness users and administrators must be held ...

Program helps kids connect with nature From the beginning, the center has been a partner with Poudre School District to increase children's exposure to the outdoors, learn about the environment and develop a respect for the world we live in. ELC director Brett Bruyere said the center helps members of the community de-stress and stay focused. "Having a connection to nature helps slow us down and keep our minds clear and focused," he said. "It is OK for us to slow down." Programs for all ages There is something for everyone at the ELC, regardless of age. The programs for school-aged children range from using your senses ...
