Sounds like Paula readied herself for the arrest with the obligatory "it was the alcohol talking" defense, preferred by politicians and Hollywood stars everywhere. Judge gets alcohol rehab for taking hit off joint

This judge was just enjoying a Rolling Stones concert and he *gasp* took 2 hits off a joint that was being passed around. Someone recognized him and now he has to undergo alcohol treatment. "Haley [a licensed alcohol treatment counselor] said alcohol may have contributed to Gilbert's decision to take two puffs from the cigarette." Does this mean that alcohol is a gateway drug?
