OT: Continuing Education Credits

Everywhere I look I stumble across places that offer classes and give "Continuing Education Credits". Now I'm thinking of presenting some seminars on applying control theory using embedded processors. While I'm more interested in presenting the information, if applicable like to be able to offer the credits, too. My question is: How do I do this (in the US)? Is there some central clearing house for accrediting courses that offer such credit? What sort of hoops do I have to jump through ...

We've all heard about the claimed "dumbing down" of the ARS. I think the ARRL took a bold step when they began putting together their continuing education training classes. Now I'm curious... Who is taking them? If you have taken one or more of their classes, please tell me which one and why. Were they of high quality? If you haven't taken one, I'd like to know the why of that as well. I was just looking at the Hubbard College of Administration site and noticed that they list "Hubbard College of Administration International has also licensed new Hubbard Colleges in California and Florida in the United States, in Australia, Europe, Russia, the Ukraine and Latin America." continuing education of a home baker

For anybody baking at home, a large part of it is discovering what professional bakers already know. Today I had my next lesson: Proof your dough in the refrigerator! I was working with a relatively wet dough (for Pugliese). The first benefit was that my dough had better definition, instead of expanding mostly sideways. The second benefit was that the oven spring was much greater. My loaves rose up sharply in the first five minutes of baking. The third benefit was that I didn't worry about leavi ...
